If you haven’t heard of, or watched, The Big Bang Theory, I suggest you do so. I used to watch this with my old room mates. It’s a 30 minute show that they’d drag out into 45 mins or an hour for whatever reason – snack, bathroom, arguing. I stopped watching TV with them and Istarted to DVR the shows I wanted to see and watch when they weren’t home, in 20 mins.

I never got to finish the series, though, because I moved and didn’t have TV, just streaming stuff. Recently, I was considering re-watching Game of Thrones on HBO when I saw they had TBBT (that’s how us cool kids refer to “The Big Bang Theory”).

Sitcoms that make me laugh out loud a LOT, are gold in my book. It’s harder to find “wholesome” shows where they aren’t pushing some agenda. “The Boys”, which I reviewed a while back, is definitely pushing an agenda.

I’m not old enough to remember first-hand that in the old days of cinema, if a man and woman were sitting on a bed together, the man had to keep one foot on the floor. I do recall my older siblings discussing the George Carling skit about the 7 things you can’t say on TV. That’s been blown out of the water.

I’m not a prude. I say “fuck”. A LOT. However, just because I can put up with stuff that’s a bit darker, doesn’t mean I want it around allllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll the time. Bring back good programming!!

And we wonder what the world is coming to……… ♥

PS. My new pans arrived!!! They are so cute!
