A long time ago, before Covid,(hmmm, will we change our calendars to reflect that? BC-Before Covid) I called the Salvation Army to come pick up a sofa I no longer wanted. I bought it at a thrift store for $100. It was a 6 piece, oversized, “vegan leather” (also known as plastic), sectional sofa with a recliner. The recliner and an end piece went in my son’s room and he loves it.
To look at this sofa you’d think, “Wow, for only $100?” Then you sit on it for more than a 5 minute showroom demo and you think “Wow, that’s too much for this!”. *le sigh* Each sitting segment has ONE spring and it works great if you’re sitting up. However, if you use a sofa to relax and recline, it’s sooooooo not comfortable.
So, I’ve had this huge sofa, taking up 90% of my living room, just staring at me and laughing, mocking, taunting, almost daring me to do something. So I did. Actually, my son did. That sucker is heavy.
It sits at the curb, now. I hope someone picks it up. It’s in good condition, despite being tossed down the front stairs. Plus, if someone takes it, I don’t have to pay the dump fee. ♥
