Wow, is pretty much all I have to say! A couple weeks ago a friend of mine told me about the LUMIPro. She was new to SL photography and wanted to buy a L$7,000 camera. That equates to about $28 USD. I told her ways she could make lights and the depth of field in preferences. It’s a pain in the butt, but it works.
This week my friend Thamas did a photo for me. It came out awesome. He also uses the LUMIPro. So I decided I would check the thing out.
Well, let me just say, if you’ve ever done “in studio photography” with real lights in real life, then you are going to LOVE this! You can rezz the lights and move them around from the hud. There are presets for everything if you suck at design like I do, sometimes.
LUMIPro also has built in poses and you can rezz multiple stands for more than one person. You can give lights and projector to your subjects and adjust their poses on the fly.
I’ve attached my first picture. I’m really pleased with it and excited to experiment with so much more. I knew I was missing out on the quality of my pictures. No, the quality is good. Afterall, any picture of me is quality. *smirk* But the lighting was terribly unoriginal. Stay tuned for MORE!!! LOL
