Let’s talk about it

Every once in a while, probably more often if you actually leave the house, you meet a person that actually acts like an adult. If there are issues, it may just take some cooling down time to work through them. That’s what adults do. There are times I don’t act like an adult in the heat of the moment. But my style is to step back and reevaluate. I know what hurtful words can do so I prefer to say nothing until I can say it calm and rational. But it’s a give and take. Each person needs to want to resolve it or it’s just words floating off into the universe as echos… or some shit like that.

Of my recent issues, one has been successfully resolved. I’m thrilled. It’s hard to find good people so it’s good to hang on to them. We had a long talk from both sides of the issue and came to a mutual understanding of give and take. Then we did body shots off the bar in Phuket.

The other? Clueless. *shrugs*

The moral of this story… keep those who make you happy and discard those who don’t.

living the second life.
